In Target you can specify if you wish to use the open command to replace the current view, open content in the Popup window, or show content in the active area. You won’t have there Active Area option unless view will contain one.

Set “This view” option to open the content in this window. Select “Active area” to set content in the Active area with a given number (One open command can open several active areas with different content at once).

If you wish to open content in a new popup window, simply click on Pop-up and a new dialog will appear where you can adjust parameters of the pop-up window.
