AMR-FCT20 – HVAC controller
The AMR-FCT20/DM programmable controller for independent control of room temperature was designed to control Fan-Coil units, chilled beams, ceiling heating systems, radiator-based heating systems, VAV systems and their combinations. When joined with programmable room control units and subordinated to control systems produced by AMiT company, it becomes a fundamental element of modern BMS (Building Management Systems) – focus on the effective, economical and safe operation of HVAC systems while observing inner environment quality of the managed building.
The controller is supplied with standard control algorithms for control of two- and four-pipe Fan-Coil units or ceiling units. One of the configuration methods incorporates a simple and freely available AppConfig configuration utility. Should the supplied algorithms functionality be insufficient for your needs, the controller supports custom applications created in DetStudio IDE. Replacing the original application with a custom one is reversible.
The controller is intended for mounting on a 35 mm DIN rail and requires 230 V AC. Aside from the standard RTD temperature sensors, the controller also supports NTC sensors. Active elements are controlled by power relays, triacs and/or analogue output signals. There is an RS485 interface used for communication with on-wall controllers. It also provides the connection between them and the power source, supplying them with 24 V DC. There is a second RS485 that is used for communication with the superior system (e.g. for the given floor) or to communicate with a communication central unit via the MODBUS RTU protocol.
