Operator panels and HMIs
Operator panels (HMIs) are an inherent part of control systems. These devices provide operators of the technology controlled with immediate information on the technology status and with the option of direct actions or setting regulation and control algorithm parameters. In AMiT’s concept, many operator panels may also fulfil the function of control systems (PLC). They are freely programmable in the DetStudio development environment, and users may integrate them directly into the control structure with other systems, with Modbus or DB-Net/IP communication.
