A new addition to our family of communication converters is the industrial-grade 5-port Ethernet switch DM-ESW05. The switch is intended to be used inside a switchboard, mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail and connected to a 24 V DC supply. Aside from that, take note of the temperature-wise operation range – -40 °C to 70 °C. In terms of connectivity, there are three RJ45 connectors at the bottom for easy connection of patch cables from the raceway to the switch; the other two RJ45 connectors are perpendicular to the baseboard to ensure easy access for service actions. The new switch was designed with the same colour palette as the rest of our control systems and I/O modules ;)
