DM-EDALI – MODBUS TCP/DALI converter
DM-EDALI is an Ethernet-to-DALI converter using the MODBUS TCP protocol. The converter operates on the DALI bus as a multi-master and supports selected DALI-2 functions..
On the DALI interface, the converter can also operate as a bus power supply. When the converter is used as the single master up to 64 peripherals can be connected to the DALI bus. MODBUS TCP commands are converted into DALI protocol telegrams, and responses from the DALI bus are available in the MODBUS registers.
The converter enables direct control of the DALI bus and configuration of connected peripherals. Via the integrated web interface it is possible to set network parameters, address ballasts, configure their parameters, set scenes and groups, view the status of luminaires, and control individual ballasts, groups or the entire bus.
The DM-EDALI is equipped with a 10/100 Mbps Ethernet interface. The converter can be powered by 24 V AC/DC or via PoE. It can be mounted on a 35 mm DIN rail or in a suspended ceiling. The device status and communication activity are indicated by LEDs.
