From July to March, the Náchod arena is used by local hockey clubs of all age categories and leagues, from mites to men, from amateur to professional – HC Náchod. Ice-hockey is not the only purpose of the arena though. A figure skating club, Kraso Náchod, and a speed skating club, BK Náchod, are both perennial stars of the arena. All sports clubs also use the arena as a retreat and a training camp. Last but not least, the arena is used by the wider public for recreational purposes and by schools for teaching ice-skating; the arena itself features a skating school. The rinks are also available for rent to the wider public and to amateur teams.
In 2018, the arena underwent a reconstruction of the main lighting system. Lighting control also features wireless buttons for goal indication.
AMiT devices are used as a data collection extension system and for control via a touch-panel, remote supervision and management of the webserver and visualisation of lighting control. Goal indication wireless buttons are implemented by using wireless components of the Poseidon 868 MHz system.
