AMiT is extending its product range by a new segment – industrial computers on PC platform. The first two products from this new category are two panel computers with processor Intel® Atom™ E3815: computer APT4010A featuring a touchscreen TFT 10.1″ with resolution 1024 × 600 pixels and computer APT4015A with TFT 15.6″ and resolution 1366 × 768 pixels. These panel computers are able to host most of the operating systems available and they allow the user to implement them independently. As standard, the computers come with a pre-installed operating system GNU/Linux or Windows Embedded or with TouchDet, an environment for monitoring and visualisation by AMiT.

Structural and technical design of this new type of product stems from verified and reliable panel computers for rolling stock that AMiT has been successfully supplying for several years to business associates, mostly abroad.
