{"id":52756,"date":"2023-10-24T15:47:29","date_gmt":"2023-10-24T13:47:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.myscada.org\/?post_type=docs&#038;p=52756"},"modified":"2023-10-24T15:47:29","modified_gmt":"2023-10-24T13:47:29","password":"","slug":"effects","status":"publish","type":"docs","link":"https:\/\/amitomation.cz\/en\/documentation\/effects\/","title":{"rendered":"Effects"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">With effects, you can add dynamic effects to your graphic objects, as described in the previous chapter (<em>see the<\/em> <em>difference between Animations and Effects<\/em>)<\/p>\n<ul class=\"bullet_star imglist\">\n<li>Watch video describing this functionality: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GTOFCwrRTPM\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=GTOFCwrRTPM<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Effects make the graphic visualization less static, and their function is similar to animations. However, they do not reflect the real state of a technological process.\u00a0 We advise using the animations for visualization of a precious technology state and use the effects to visualize the real-time change of objects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><strong>The states of objects during animating are based on actual values obtained from the PLC. For example, the motor rotation visualized through the <em>Animations<\/em> behaves according to the values obtained from the PLC, but the rotation visualized with the <em>Effects<\/em> is based on the values set by you and will use the \u201chard\u201d data only as a trigger.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">b. Select the object you want to set effects on and you can either click on effect icon in the top right corner toolbar or either you can click on &#8220;anims&#8221; and at the first place you can select effects<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/myDESIGNER_NEW\/Screenshot_40.jpg\" alt=\"14.16.1\" width=\"400\" height=\"371\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. Now you have a several options what you can do, you can select out of 2 most used effects which are blinking and rotation these can be simply set by clicking on the one we want. On the screenshot we have set Modbus tag which will trigger rotation when the tag value is 0 or 1.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/myDESIGNER_NEW\/Screenshot_41.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1183\" height=\"769\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Same can be done with blinking effect if the value of tag H:0@modbus will be 0 or 1 component will start blinking at medium speed.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/myDESIGNER_NEW\/Screenshot_42.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If none of these options won&#8217;t fit your needs you can simply click on advanced and make your own effect or select out of several more options which mySCADA offers to you.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/myDESIGNER_NEW\/Screenshot_43.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1311\" height=\"774\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\">Selecting an effect.<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To select an effect, simply click on it. When you click on effect, it is highlighted and you are presented with effects\u2019 properties on the right side of the effects window:<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\">Effects\u2019 Properties:<\/span><\/h3>\n<p>Trigger &#8211; Triggers effect on certain options (click, tag, mouseover etc,&#8230;)<\/p>\n<p>Timing &#8211; Duration specifies the duration of the effect itself, loops specifies how many loops will effect do (There is also forever option so as an example if the tag will trigger the effect, the effect will be active until tag value won&#8217;t trigger it).<\/p>\n<p>You can even combine effects together and specify it&#8217;s easing.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Preserve attributes after the finish: when the effect ends, all attributes changed are reverted to the original state as it was before the effect started. If you would like to preserve attribute changes after the end of the effect, check this option.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/myDESIGNER_NEW\/Screenshot_44.jpg\" alt=\"14.16.4\" width=\"1311\" height=\"776\" \/><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\"><strong>Effect name<\/strong>:<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you create your own custom effect you can change it&#8217;s name by double-cliking on the effect itself<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"https:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/myDESIGNER_NEW\/Screenshot_45.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\">Property changes<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The mySCADA effects engine enables you to animate different properties for any element. You can change, for example, color, size, move element, and much more. The properties table shows you which properties will be modified when the effect is run.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_14.16.6.jpg\" alt=\"14.16.6\" width=\"350\" height=\"136\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"manualodstavec\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">This properties table has just one section and one property change. When this effect is run, it will change the element color to red.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>You can change multiple properties at once, or you can change different properties during a time. For example, you can create multiple entries per section (Duration), and you can have multiple sections. The following properties table will show how to change multiple properties at once and have multiple sections.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_14.16.7.jpg\" alt=\"14.16.7\" width=\"350\" height=\"260\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"manualodstavec\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">In this example, the fill and stroke color of output elements will be changed to red and yellow. The change will take time in first half of time (Specified by Duration 50.0 %). Then, the element will start to rotate and will rotate by 90 degrees. At the end of the effect, the element will disappear; this is due to the \u201cReset\u201d section where we have specified opacity = 0.0.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>To modify a property, double click on it. The Modify Property Dialog will be shown:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_14.16.8.jpg\" alt=\"14.16.8\" width=\"230\" height=\"201\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\" style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you wish to modify a Time Section (Duration), double click on Duration label; a new Modify Duration Dialog will be shown:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_14.16.9.jpg\" alt=\"14.16.9\" width=\"230\" height=\"181\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Modify parameters:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\"><strong>Time<\/strong><\/span>: this is the duration of the time section shown as a percentage. If you specify the overall time of effect to be 1000 milliseconds and then set the time duration to 20 %,\u00a0 the animated change will take exactly 200 milliseconds.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\"><strong>Easing<\/strong><\/span>: specifies the\u00a0rate of change of\u00a0a\u00a0parameter over time. You can choose from several easing functions. To see them all, click on the ? button next to the easing combo box.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">To add a new property or section, click on <strong>Add Button<\/strong>, and a new dialog will be shown:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_14.16.10.jpg\" alt=\"14.16.10\" width=\"230\" height=\"259\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"manualodstavec\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">Select a property you would like to add and set its value.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you would like to create a new Time Section (Duration), check \u201cAdd New Time Group,\u201d and additional properties will be shown:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_14.16.11.jpg\" alt=\"14.16.11\" width=\"200\" height=\"226\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Fill in the required parameters:<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style-type: square;\">\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\"><strong>Time<\/strong><\/span>: this is the duration of the time section shown as a percentage. For example, if you specify the overall time of effect to be 1000 milliseconds and then set time duration to 20 %, the animated change will take exactly 200 milliseconds.<\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\"><strong>Easing<\/strong><\/span>: specifies the\u00a0rate of change of\u00a0a\u00a0parameter over time. You can choose from several easing functions. To see them all, click on the ? button next to the easing combo box.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you would like to create a Finish Time Section, check the appropriate checkbox:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_14.16.12.jpg\" alt=\"14.16.12\" width=\"200\" height=\"226\" \/><\/p>\n<p class=\"manualodstavec\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">The Finish section is useful if you would like to set some properties for a given value at the animation end. If you use the Finish section, you should check \u201cPreserve attributes after finish\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\">Trigger<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">A trigger specifies how an effect will be started.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_14.16.13.jpg\" alt=\"14.16.13\" width=\"250\" height=\"165\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In the context menu, you can set the effect trigger:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\"><strong><em>on Click <\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u2013 effect will be activated when the object is clicked<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\"><strong><em>on Down <\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u2013 effect will be activated when the object is pressed <strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\"><strong><em>on Up <\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u2013 effect will be activated when the object is released (after on Down action)<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\"><strong><em>on Down Up <\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u2013 effect will be activated when the object is pressed and stopped when the object is released.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\"><strong><em>on Mouse Over <\/em><\/strong><\/span>\u2013 effect will be activated when you hover over the object with the mouse pointer and stopped when the mouse pointer leaves the object<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\"><strong><em>Tag<\/em><\/strong><\/span> \u2013 effect will be activated when selected tag value reaches given range and stopped when the value is out of range.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\"><strong><em>Tag<\/em><\/strong> <strong><em>Trigger<\/em><\/strong><\/span> \u2013 effect will be activated when selected tag value reaches given range, but the effect will NOT be stopped when the value is out of range.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">If you select <strong><em>Tag<\/em><\/strong> or <strong>Tag Trigger<\/strong> from the trigger menu, set the tag address and the range of the <strong>Min<\/strong> and <strong>Max<\/strong> values.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_14.16.14.jpg\" alt=\"14.16.14\" width=\"300\" height=\"202\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\">Inputs<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Inputs section specifies the elements that trigger the effect action. If you, for example, set the action to on Click and then specify multiple Input elements, any of them will act as a trigger effect when a user clicks it.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_14.16.15.jpg\" alt=\"14.16.15\" width=\"280\" height=\"188\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The \u201c+\u201d and \u201c-\u201d buttons allow you to add or remove Input elements from the list.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\">Outputs<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The Outputs section specifies the action elements to which the effect is applied. Usually, you want to apply an effect to the same element you have for the action trigger.
