Create objects you want to use to create the final object<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_6.12.2.jpg\" alt=\"6.12.2\" width=\"150\" height=\"73\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. Select both objects using your mouse<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_6.12.3.jpg\" alt=\"6.12.3\" width=\"150\" height=\"78\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. Go to the menu <em>Drawing \u2013&gt; Path<\/em> <em>operations<\/em> and select <em>Merge selected objects together<\/em> &#8211; the two objects will merge into one. You can also select the desired function from the GUI Toolbar.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_6.12.4.jpg\" alt=\"6.12.4\" width=\"150\" height=\"74\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\">Subtract<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This feature is opposite to the <em>Merge<\/em> function. You can subtract portions of a bigger object to create\u00a0 a new object of the desired shape.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. Select objects and make sure the outline is in the desired shape of the final object. Then select the inner object that you want to remove.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_6.12.5.jpg\" alt=\"6.12.5\" width=\"150\" height=\"115\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. Go to the menu <em>Drawing \u2013&gt; Path<\/em> <em>operations<\/em> and select <em>Subtract objects<\/em>. You can also select the desired function from the GUI Toolbar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">3. Now you have a new cutting that can be modified \u2013 use the same steps as described for shaping objects<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_6.12.6.jpg\" alt=\"6.12.6\" width=\"150\" height=\"113\" \/><\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\">Intersect<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This feature creates a new object from an overlapped area of two different objects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">1. Arrange two arbitrary objects so their overlapping pieces make a desired shape, and then select the objects.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_6.12.7.jpg\" alt=\"6.12.7\" width=\"150\" height=\"127\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">2. Go into the menu <em>Drawing \u2013&gt;Path<\/em> <em>operations<\/em> and select <em>Intersect. <\/em>You can also select the desired function from the GUI Toolbar.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter\" src=\"http:\/\/myscada.org\/downloads\/manuals_image\/img_6.12.8.jpg\" alt=\"6.12.8\" width=\"82\" height=\"78\" \/><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Now you have a new cutting ready to be formed into a desired shape by clicking and dragging the surrounding dots.<\/p>\n<h3><span style=\"color: #0084c8;\">Turn-to-Path<\/span><\/h3>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">This feature allows you to transform the objects e.g. Changing primitive objects to complex paths. Go to <em>Drawing-&gt;Path operations-&gt;Convert Selected Objects to General Path Objects<\/em>. You can also select the desired function from the GUI Toolbar.
